Thank you for visiting the website dedicated to providing news and information about the Killingworth Republican Town Committee.  I am proud to Chair this important civic group.   

Killingworth is a unique community.  Nearly all of its citizens are committed to preserving the town’s rural character; yet, like all things, Killingworth is not immune to change.  As a town resident for thirty-four years, I’ve seen ideas come and go, but one thing has never waned:  the efforts of the Killingworth Republicans to improve the measure of life in our town; the civility of public discourse, the quality of elected and appointed men and women that serve our community, and the cooperation needed to face the challenges of our changing world.   

It is ironic that the national Democrat party clamors for change: change that your local Republicans have long since embraced.  Election after election, the Killingworth GOP cross endorses qualified democrats for elective office; nominates and supports earnest unaffiliated candidates; and, submits for municipal appointment the name of the individual best suited for the job, regardless of age, race, years of residency or party affiliation. 

The reason is simple.  Our KRTC believes that people come before politics --  That sound ideas should advance, even if they arise from the other side of the aisle --  That leadership requires listening before speaking; and, that the best solution to most problems is the one we arrive at together.
